Approved Pilot Training

If you are an airline or airman and wish to conduct approved 747 pilot training with us then we have a number of services available to you. Hosted from our modern elegant training centre at London Gatwick, just a stones throw away from the southerly runway. Our modern FSTDO/ATO facility makes the ideal location from which to conduct your training, with excellent amenities and transport links.

Training services

  • We run a full UK CAA Approved Boeing 747 Type rating. This course is residential and includes;

    • Ground School

    • Flight Simulator

    • Examination

    • Base training (Optional)

    (Duration 35 days)

  • If you currently hold a 747 type rating and need to either renew or revalidate your rating then we can build any required training package and run a UK CAA LST.

  • If you are a current 747 Pilot and wish to become an instructor or examiner then we can run a full UK CAA TRI / TRE course.

  • If you have a valid UK CAA Multi Engine Instrument Rating, then we can offer our APS MCC on the 747. This includes:

    • 1 week of classroom training

    • 38 hours of fixed base simulator training

    • 2 hours full flight simulator training

    • APS Ceertificate
